Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Rituals are Iran’s Heritage

The coach of Iran’s beach wrestling team said, “Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Rituals are Islamic Republic of Iran’s Heritage and have introduced many great champions to the world.”

This morning, Fardin Masumi in an interview with Caspian International News Agency, referred to July 22, the day of Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Rituals and stated, “Pahlevani Wrestling and Zoorkhaneh rituals in general have a spiritual atmosphere and have their roots in high culture of Islam.”
He added, “Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Rituals are deeply ingrained in Iran’s culture; and great champions have won the championship armbands.”
The champion of Iran in the year 1386 named Pourya-ye Vali and Gholamreza Takhti as the great champions of Iran and the world’s history and added, “Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Rituals are Islamic Republic of Iran’s Heritage”.
