The Iranian ambassador in Turkmenistan stressing that the focus of the private sector should be on production, said, “We have weaknesses in systemizing export and we need to take effective action in this regard.”

According to Caspian International News Agency in Sari, Seyed Mohammad Ahmadi, in a metting with Mazandaran’s governor and a few of the executives on Monday afternoon stated, “The improvement of the cooperation between Iran and Turkmenistan is a strategic move. One of the important plans is to replace land transportation with sea transportation from ports in Mazandaran for transferring Iranian export goods to Turkmenistan.”

The Iranian ambassador in Turkmenistan stressed that Mazandaran can also play a substantial role in Turkmenistan’s trade relations and the transit of their export goods.

Reporting that the Iranian embassy will help and cooperate with Iranian businessmen, Ahmadi said, “the great vigor of Mazandaran and the intelligence of its businessmen can take control of Turkmenistan’s market.”
