According to Caspian International News Agency, in the second game of semi-final stage of the 24th FIBA Asia U18 Championship, Iran and South Korea faced each other and the game ended 87 to 65 in favor of Iran. With this result, Iran qualified for the World Cup too.
In this game, Iran had Shah Ravesh, Samadi, Jafari, Rezai, and Khandan on the roster.
Unlike the preliminary round, our players gave a better performance, won the first and second quarters 21 to 19 and 24 to 11, and created a 15-point difference.
In the third quarter, the two teams performed evenly, but Iranian players beat South Korea 21 to 20.
In the last 10 minutes, Reza Noori’s players performed better and with strong defense and counter attacks won the game 87 to 65.
Tomorrow, Iran will play Japan in final. The Japanese defeated Iran in the first round and tomorrow’s game will be about revenge.
