Jabbar Kouchakinejad, in interview with Caspian International News Agency in Rasht hinting at the economic conditions of the country, stated, “Importing goods which their equivalents are produced with a better quality in our country, especially in a year that the Supreme Leader has called resistive economy, is very wrong.”
Stressing that smuggling has crippled national production, he said, “Unfortunately we haven’t achieved anything in JCPOA and only Iran has upheld its commitments.”
The representative of Rasht in the Consultative Assembly, stating that the economy of Iran is not in a good condition said, “The government should rethink its import policies.”
Kouchakinejad stressed that Gilan’s capacity for realizing the resistive economy policies should not be ignored. “Resistive economy is the only solution to our economic problems”, he added.
Koichakinejad concluded, “The support for national production should not remain just a motto, and it should be operationalized.”
