The Private Sector’s Readiness to Launch a Passenger Line From the Port of Noshahr to Turkmenbashi in Turkmenistan

According to Caspian International News Agency in Noshahr, Siavash Rezvani, in a meeting with the head of Russia’s transportation company on Monday morning, said, “Fortunately, considering the appropriate infrastructures in Noshahr port, the IRSOTR firm has expressed its readiness for launching a passenger line between the Noshahr and Turkmenbashi Ports.”

The director general of Mazandaran Ports and Maritime Organization stated that helpful discussions have taken place about IRSOTR firm being more active in export from Noshahr port. He added, “By forming a special committee, practical solutions for exporting goods from the special economic zone of Noshahr to other countries will be discussd.”

The CEO of IRSOTR, stating that their company is most active in Noshahr port among the north ports of the country, said, “We hope that by the assistance of the new director general of Mazandaran Ports and Maritime Organization, the level of cooperation will increase.”
