Mohammad Bagher Nobakht, in an exclusive interview with Caspian International News Agency, hinted at the government’s civil projects related to Gilan, and said, “at the beginning of the tenth government, we had numerous civil projects related to roads.”

The head of Management and Planning Organization mentioned that in two months, parts of the tunnel in this project will open. He added, “The other issue is Gilan’s railway, which as you have heard from international media, by completing the Qazin-Rasht railway, Qazvin to Astara and then to Azerbaijan will be possible which can play an influential role in the development of Gilan.’

Answering the Caspian reporter’s question about the accomplishments of the president’s visit to Azerbaijan and utilizing the underground resources of Caspian Sea, Nobakht said, “Based on International laws, utilizing body of waters is different for sea and lakes.”
