The North Oil Terminal Is the Most Modern Oil Terminal in the Caspian Littoral States

The CEO of the North Oil Terminal said, “With the start of the oil swap and the ships docking at the three oil ports of this terminal, 120,000 oil barrels will be swapped every day.”

Hamidreza Shahdoost, in interview with the Caspian International News Agency in Neka, stated that the North Oil Terminal in Neka is the most modern oil terminal in Caspian littoral states, and said, “By next month, this oil terminal will observe a great change in the oil industry economy of the country.”

The CEO of the North Oil Terminal Firm announced that the swap procedure will be carried out by the 200-kilometer pipeline from the north of the country instead of the 600-kilometer pipeline of the south. He added, “This procedure had earned $880 million for the country during its 10 years of activity.”

Shahdoost , referring to the fact that docks, pipelines, nine 150-barrel tanks, measurement system and of course loading and unloading arms are all ready for the procedure, said, “ These can very securely unload the cargo by connecting to the drain pipelines of the ship.”

Stating that the capability of our tankers is far more than those of the Caspian littoral states’ tankers, he noted, “Constructing an inclusive reservoir with 13 ports is one of the development plans of this terminal.”

The CEO of the North Oil Terminal said, “With the start of the oil swap and the ships docking at the three oil ports of this terminal, 120,000 oil barrels will be swapped every day.”
