Secretary-General of Gilan Writers and Researchers’ Community in Interview with Caspian:

Writing More than 70 Books About Martyrs, 3 Books To Come Out in Holy Defense Week

The secretary-general of Gilan community of writers and researchers, stating that this is the first time this organization has been formed in Iran, said, “This year, along with the Holy Defense week, 3 books with a focus on martyrs from different sectors of society will be published.”

Writing More than 70 Books About Martyrs, 3 Books To Come Out in Holy Defense Week

Mohammadreza Binesh Berahmand, the secretary-general of Gilan community of writers and researchers, in interview with Caspian News Agency, said, “Up to now, more than 70 books about martyrs from different sectors of society have been written.”

He added, “It’s the first time that such an organization has been formed in Iran, with the goal of research and cultural activities in the field of writing and collecting memories of veterans and preserving the memory of martyrs.

Binesh Berahmand stated, “This year in the Holy Defense week, three books focusing on martyrs from different sectors of the society, such as martyrs from health care systems, assassinated cleric martyrs, and special martyrs of Gilan, will be published.”

The secretary-general of Gilan community of writers and researchers said, “Turquoise Union, biography of 18 professor and student martyrs of the University of Gilan, Sound of Silence, a look at the life of 150 disabled veterans with more than 70% injuries,  Heavenly Heroes, two volume biography of 200 athlete martyrs of Gilan, etc. are some of the books that have been published with the efforts of Gilan community of writers and researchers.”
