According to Caspian International News Agency, Tuesday night, Turkish media announced Vladimir Putin’s decision to travel to Turkey.
Turkey’s “A Haber” has written that Putin is going to travel to Antalya, Turkey, to watch a football match on August 31.
On this day, the Russian national football team has a friendly match, and Putin is the honored guest of this event.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the president of Turkey, will watch the game with Putin.
If this news is confirmed, this will be the second meeting of Putin and Erdoğan in less than a month. After a long suspense of the relations between the two countries, the two presidents had a bilateral meeting in Moscow, last month.
The relations between Moscow and Ankara were damaged after that Turkish fighter jets shoot down a Russian bomber over Syria last year. The relations between the two countries has restored recently, after Erdoğan apologized to Russian nation.
Although the two countries have serious disagreements about Syria, they have had discussions for solving the crisis recently.
