Storm Damages Have Turned Mazandaran into a War Affected Area; Electricity Isn’t Restored to All Affected Areas Yet

The representative of Qaemshahr, Savadkouh, Juybar, North Savadkouh, and Simorq has said, “Fortunately, until now, no collateral damage has been reported in Qaemshahr, but there has been collateral damage in Mazandaran. The storm in Qaemshahr had a speed of 130 km/h, which has caused heavy damage.

Seyed Ali Adyani Rad, in interview with Caspian in Qaemshahr, stated, “With the storm and flood Friday morning, terrible and unpleasant situation has occurred in Mazandaran which has made this province like the war affected areas.”

The representative of Qaemshahr, Savadkouh, Juybar, North Savadkouh, and Simorq has said, “Fortunately, until now, no collateral damage has been reported in Qaemshahr, but there has been collateral damage in Mazandaran. The storm in Qaemshahr had a speed of 130 km/h, which has caused heavy damage.

He added that the storm has felled the trees and caused electricity blackout and water shortage. The flood and felling of the trees have blocked the main roads of the city and have damaged many cars.

He stated, “Due to the broad scope of the damage, we haven’t been able to restore the electricity to all urban areas yet, but the water in the affected areas have been restored.
