Caspian International News Agency– Sergey Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, at the end of his 12-hour talk with John Kerry in Geneva, said, “United States and Russia have reached an agreement on launching coordinated offensive in Syria, in case of observing the proposed ceasefire.
Lavrov stated, “From the Monday, September 12, some steps will be taken to stop the hostile conflicts, and sending humanitarian aid.”
Foreign minister of Russia said, “We have offered this agreement plan to Syrian government today, and they have announced their agreement.”
He added, “We will reach agreements about attacks by Russian and American air forces against the terrorists. We have also agreed about the regions where coordinated attacks will be carried out.”
The head of Russian Diplomatic Agency said, “In the talks with John Kerry, 5 documents were signed. These documents are concerned with resumption of political operations in Syria. He added, identifying the targeted regions for Russian and American jet fighters is one of the agreed terms in this document.”
Based on Russia and US agreement, ceasefire in Syria will start on Monday, September 12, which coincides with Eid al-Adha. In case this ceasefire is held by all the concerned parties for one week, US will begin cooperating with Russia for targeting Daesh and Al-Nusra Front.
