Caspian International News Agency– Moscow believes that Washington is responsible for the deterioration of the situation in Syria, and has announced, “The White House defends ISIS terrorists.”
Russian Foreign Affair Ministry issued a statement criticizing Washington’s performance regarding the recent ceasefire. This statement has been issued in reaction to the American fighter jets targeting Syrian army.
Meanwhile, Viktor Poznikhir, a Russian General said, “Moscow has put in all their efforts to prevent Syrian Army forces from breaking the ceasefire.”
Vladimir Savchenko, another Russian General has noted that US actions in Syria have deteriorated the situation in Syria.
Russia referred to more than 50 attacks by terrorist and government opposition groups in the past 24 hours and warned that the situation in Syria is worsening.
Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, accused some armed opposition groups of taking advantage of the ceasefire for rebuilding their armies, and said that the Syrian Army is completely observing the ceasefire but some terrorist groups have abused it for attacks.
He stated that enforcing the ceasefire in Syria has been the joint objective of Moscow and Washington. He added, “We are observing terrorists’ efforts for restoring their power. However, we are fully committed to our obligations, especially that Russia has reached an agreement with the Syrian Army.
