Caspian International News Agency– Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the revolution, today noon, on the Police day, met with the commanders and officials of this force and said, “Security is the main pillar of a country’s progress, and the police are the pillars of ensuring security. Abilities and preparedness of the police, and the faith and determination of its employees should improve day by day.”
In this meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei defined security as “Individual mental tranquility and public peace”. He added, “In lack of security, even with the capacities and motivation of people in a society, the possibility of various economic, cultural, and political activities is ruled out.”
The Supreme Leader of the revolution stated that security causes believers’ faith to increase, and said, “One of the major pillars of a country’s security is the police force. Of course this great pillar of security should always improve their faith, determination, motivation and spirit.”
Referring to the various services by the police force in the country, he stressed the need for focusing on police stations because of their direct contact with people.”
Referring to the fast improvement in different sectors such as improvements in science and technology, the Commander-in-chief reminded the need to “increase preparedness, and updating the abilities”, “understanding and meeting the responsibilities”, and “detailed explanation of activities and services for people in the media” for ensuring security in the country.
