The U.S. Director of National Intelligence has resigned after a disagreement with the new president, while it’s only 2 months left of his term

U.S. Director of National Intelligence Resigns

Caspian International News Agency– James Clapper, the U.S. director of national intelligence has resigned.

Clapper, who was talking at the hearing in U.S. House of Representatives, announced that he had resigned because of a disagreement with Donald Trump, , the new president of U.S., over what he called “the interference of Russia in the election”.

He said that he had handed in his resignation letter to Barack Obama, the current president, the night before, and “felt very good”.

There is still 2 months left of Clappers’s term.
