Caspian International News Agency– In some parts of his meeting with thousands of Basij members today, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the issues between Iran and U.S., and stated, “We cannot judge the future government of U.S, but the current government, unlike what they committed to in JCPOA, have committed several violations”.
Referring to the extension of the 10-year sanctions against Iran by the U.S. congress, he noted, “If these sanctions are extended, it will definitely be violation of JCPOA, and the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond to this”.
The leader of Islamic Revolution stressed that the nuclear agreement or JCPOA, should not be a tool for pressuring Iran.
Referring to the country officials’ statements which had announced the objectives of JCPOA to be reducing the pressure and lifting sanctions, he added, “In addition to not fulfilling the promises and commitments of JCPOA, the U.S. government is now trying to use JCPOA to pressure Iran again.”
He stressed, “Relying on the power of God and believing in the power of people, The Islamic Republic of Iran is not afraid of any powers in the world.”
In the end, the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution noted, “If someone, imitating the Israeli spirit, says ‘we cannot’, and is afraid of the enemy, we will answer like Moses who said, “It’s not like that, God is always with us, and will guide us”.
