Trump Fires Acting Attorney General for “Betrayal”

The president of US has fired the top law enforcement officer, for refusing to enforce the so-called citizen protection law

Trump Fires Acting Attorney General for “Betrayal”
Caspian International News Agency– The President of US has fired Sally Yates, the deputy attorney general because of refusing to enforce a legal order which was said to have been “designed to protect the citizens of the United States.”
Whites House has announced in a statement that “”(Yates) has betrayed the Department of Justice,”
Dana Boente, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia has been temporarily appointed to succeed Yates.
Some government officials say that Trump hadn’t called Yates to let her know she was being dismissed and she was fired by a letter.
Yates’ dismissal happened after that CNN had reported that she instructed the Justice Department not to defend Trump’s immigration order, which bans travelers from seven Muslim-majority nations and temporarily halts refugee arrivals. This resulted in a conflict between the White House and Yates, who was a remnant of the Obama administration, only in office until the Senate confirms Jeff Sessions as the next attorney general.
A little after this news was announced, Trump has sent a tweet and said, “Democrats postpone he Democrats are delaying my cabinet picks for purely political reasons. They have nothing going but to obstruct.
