Caspian International News Agency– According to al-Arabiya, Dubai has plans to transfer 25 percent of its public transportation to air travel. The flying taxi will start their work in Dubai in July.
The road and transportation commission of Dubai announced its cooperation with the Chinese Ehang company, for launching the first flying taxi in the world called Ehang 184.
This flying taxi has the ability to carry people in the sky.
This commission has also announced that this taxi is going to be launched in July, 2017 for the first time and it’s going to be entered into Dubai’s public transportation system.
As you see in science-fiction movies, the passengers of this self-flying taxi can choose their destination on a screen.
In this flying taxi, a digital touch-screen is provided in front of the passenger which shows a map. The taxi is then started automatically and the air travel begins, and finally it lands on the specified location. The performance monitoring and control of the vehicle is done from a control center on land.
Dubai is going to change 25 percent of its public transportation into air travel by 2030.
