Caspian International News Agency– Announcing this, Khashayar Sheibani said, “The recent flood has washed the wall of this region’s seasonal river, and has unearthed the remains of an old cemetery in Juyom, Larestan.
He said, “The people of Juyom converted to Islam in the 3rd century AH, and most of the heritage of this region belongs to the Islamic era. Speculations about the discovery of an ancient city in this area are not true.
The manager of the cultural heritage base of LArestan explained, “In the recent flood, the remains of a historical cemetery next to the current shrine in this region was found, and the cultural heritage protection forces were sent to the site.
He added, “As soon as the site is ready, and the water subsides, the experts will go this site for archaeological explorations”.
