James Comey will Testify to “Russia’s Interference in Election” in Senate Hearing

Caspian International News Agency– The ex-director of FBI is going to testify to Russia’s alleged interference in US 2016 election, in the public hearing of the Senate.

A while ago, James Comey, the director of FBI was fired by this country’s president.

According to New York Times, a few days before he was fired by Donald Trump, he had asked the department of justice to raise the funding for investigating the alleged interference of Russia in US 2016 presidential election.

The 56-year-old Comey, who was appointed 4 years ago, was fired while 6 years of his term was remained”.

Following the controversies about Comey’s firing, this news paper reported that Trump had asked the former FBI director to quit the investigation about Russia’s interference in the election.

Of course, the spokesman of Donald Trump’s government and the president himself denied this news.

Now the latest news suggest that Comey is going to attend the public hearing of the US Senate and testify to  Russia’s alleged interference in US 2016 election.
